Module 3 - Medical Documentation and Psychological Evaluation
This module focuses on the medical documentation and psychological and neuro-psychological evaluations necessary to evaluate a disability claim. Clinical and collateral interviews are discussed as well as mental status examinations and neuro-psychological testing. The importance of appropriate test selection and evaluation of the data is emphasized.
 
Various psychological and neuro-psychological tests such as the MMPI-2. WAIS-III, WMS-III and the Beck Depression Inventory among others are discussed.
 
The importance of the findings summary of the various tests will be explained.
   
  Upon completion of this module, the participant will be able to:
    • Understand the differences between clinical and collateral interviews  
    • Differentiate between the various tests used to evaluate disability
